I wanted a Logitech MX masters for its side buttons and horizontal scroll, but the price was too high for a mouse. I have been a user of the Logitech M330/ 331 series for many years, and just like my previous 4-5 units, buttons stopped working, and I was looking for a new mouse.
I found this Flipkart SmartBuy D1050C7 Wireless Optical Mouse, which totally fits my needs. The features looked great on paper, and the price was reasonable for the features.
Built
The built quality of the Flipkart SmartBuy D1050C7 Wireless Optical Mouse is good for the price. There is no rubbery feel like the Logitech M331, but overall it feels good in hand mainly because of the size. This is the biggest mouse I have used, and it fits perfectly in the hands.
The scroll wheels are good but far from perfect. The tactile feedback of the wheels is not so good and sometimes feels cheap. The initial move of the horizontal scroll wheel is complex and not very good to move. Good tactile feedback from the scroll wheels is a must for a good mouse which is not the case with this model.
All other buttons are well built, and for the price, I have no complaints about it. Overall the build is very similar to the Flipkart SmartBuy E703T mouse which I am using for the last 6 months.
Features
Flipkart SmartBuy D1050C7 Wireless Optical Mouse has support for three devices in total (1 via the USB dongle and two via the inbuilt Bluetooth support). There is a button on the back side with which you can shift through the devices.
The DPI button works perfectly, and I have no complaints about it.
Another great feature of this mouse is type C charging. At this price point, this is the only mouse that provides so many features.
Conclusion
Overall a good mouse for the price of Rs. 899, which I got, but the feel of the scroll wheels is not so good.
