I had no intention of buying these as I have a lot of TWS and neckband earbuds with me. I have Oppo Enco W11, W51, M31, M32, and Sony WF-1000XM3. I got PTron Bassbuds Eon In-Ear Earbuds as I got it in a deal in which first 100 buyers get it for Rs. 99. It got delivered the very next day (today) in the morning.

The packaging the decent with a box having earbuds, a case, and cable. Earbuds themselves are small in size with a little shiny finish. Overall they look good for the price. The case was a surprise to me. It was super small. One of the smallest I have used. The case lid is okayish and might break on long-term usage. Also, slots to put in the earbuds in the case are placed a bit differently than others I have used. I have to rotate the earbuds 90 degrees after removal from the ears to put them back in. There is a type C port that does not support fast charging as a 5V-1A charger is recommended and mentions “Caution: Using incompatible USB cable or high voltage chargers can damage the product & void the product warranty. We strongly recommend using DC5V-1A chargers & the USB cable included in the package.”

PTron Bassbuds Eon In-Ear Earbuds With ENC have the following features mentioned on the website: 13mm Driver, Immersive Sound, Bluetooth 5.3 Wireless Headphone, Quick Pairing, Touch Control, Type-C Fast Charging, IPX4 & Voice Assistance. If the website mentions a DC5V-1A charger it cannot be a fast charging one as claimed.

Earbuds were easy to pair with my phone, took only a few seconds to show in the list and pair. AAC HD Audio is supported. It has Bluetooth 5.3 support and my Google Pixel 6A has Bluetooth 5.2. There is no auto stop for music playback on removal as there is no proximity sensor on it.

The sound quality is surprisingly good for the price (Rs. 899 at the time of writing). The name is Bassbuds but it is not too bass-heavy to my surprise and relief. Bass is only slightly boosted to not overpower other frequencies. Mids and treble are also good with not too much boost to the treble. The overall sound is good for the price, mild V-shaped sound curve. These are cheap earphones but they do not sound cheap. I actually like the sound of these over the bass-overpowered Oppo W51.

Mic quality is also decent due to ENC (environmental noise cancellation) as a feature in them. Battery life is also good, I have not tested the claimed 30 hours battery with case till now, and will update the review once I do.

Overall the PTron Bassbuds Eon In-Ear Earbuds are very good for the price of their sound quality, size, and features.
